The Materialist Axiom: The Analytical Baseline
The methodological rule that we analyze the Biblical text and church history based entirely on the physical, structural results of their habits.
The Materialist Axiom: The Analytical Baseline
In Materialist Christianity, the Materialist Axiom is a strict methodological assumption. It is the analytical framework used to evaluate the Biblical text and historical church mechanics based solely on their physical, material results.
What Materialist Christianity Is NOT
[!CAUTION] It is a fatal error to mistake Materialist Christianity for "Christian Materialism." We do not dictate who or what the Christian God "is." We do not claim that "God is the universe" or that "God is physical reality" (Pantheism). Making theological claims about the nature of the Creator is entirely outside the scope of this project.
The Methodological Approach
The Materialist Axiom is a requirement for our specific type of investigation. To understand how the historical working class survived the collapse of empires using the Bible, we must examine the text under the assumptions of dialectical and historical materialism.
- Focus on the Mechanics: We analyze the social engineering of the text—laws regarding debt forgiveness, rest (the Sabbath), resource pooling, and the protection of the vulnerable.
- The Output of the Behavioral Vector: We track the historical effectiveness of a community's actions rather than debating their theological feelings. For example, did the Acts Church successfully feed its widows and survive Roman extraction? If yes, what physical systems did they use to accomplish it?
- Reproducing the Results: Because the mechanisms of survival in the Bible (like the 15-man shop and the rejection of debt) functioned in the real world, they can be utilized today to organize society toward human progress and protect our neighborhoods from corporate monopolies.
Summary
The Materialist Axiom is the boundary line of our work. We do not instruct Christians on their relationship with the divine; we simply read the Bible as the most advanced, battle-tested manual for human survival in the face of structural decay.
