Jonah: The Hostile Neighbor

A node in the materialist record.

Jonah: The Hostile Neighbor

the story of Jonah and Nineveh is a forensic analysis of Regional Stability. It identifies the technical responsibility we have to our neighbors, even when those neighbors are hostile or extractive.

Regional Gear-Sets

A neighborhood or a nation does not exist in a vacuum.

  1. The Hostile City: Nineveh was an extractive empire. Jonah's refusal to go was an attempt to ignore the materialist fact that Nineveh’s collapse would have a Chain Reaction on his own community.
  2. The Responsibility of the Word: To preach to the neighbor is to provide them with the technical logic of survival. It is to help them stop being "Ghosts" and return to the "Flesh."
  3. The Technical Rupture: If the neighboring city is hollowed out by Mechanical Failure and extraction to the point of collapse, the shockwaves will reach your town. Stable neighbors are a Technical Asset.

Summary

The Jonah Diagnostic identify that our survival is linked to the stability of the region. To be a Materialist Christian is to recognize that the Kingdom requires us to build a Nation of Neighbors, even with those we don't like, to prevent the globalists from hollowing us all out together.
