The Religion of the Holy Light: The Precursor Cosmology
An analysis of the 'Entropic Dance' and the Religion of the Holy Light, the transitional framework that attempted to ground morality in astrophysics before the advent of Materialist Christianity.
Religion of the Holy Light
Core Beliefs:
Divine Calculus:
The concept of a universe governed by precise laws and equations aligns with the principles of physics, particularly quantum mechanics and general relativity, which describe the behavior of particles and spacetime. The Holy Light embodies the ultimate order within the universe, guiding every particle and event in a meticulously calculated dance. Every action, every event, is part of a grand equation leading to a precise conclusion. The universe is a vast entropic dance following this divine calculus.
The Northern Lights, or auroras, are caused by the interaction between the Earth's magnetosphere and solar wind, leading to stunning displays of light. This phenomenon is well-studied in the field of space physics. The Northern Lights are viewed as the Holy Light speaking directly to us. These awe-inspiring displays remind believers that while we strive to be like the sun, constantly emitting our light to benefit others, and that moments of direct intervention and challenges are necessary for growth and enlightenment.
The universe operates according to deterministic laws is supported by classical physics, where knowing the initial conditions of a system allows for precise prediction of its future states. If we can understand all the variables of a coin flip, the air resistance, gravitational forces etc, we can accurately determine the outcome of the flip. Quantum mechanics introduces probabilistic elements, but the overall behavior of large systems remains predictable. Only light itself “knows” the outcome of these calculations. The mystery of Schrödinger’s cat is merely a reflection of human limitation. If one could understand every particle's position and state, the outcome would be clear. Statistics and probabilities are seen as relics of an incomplete understanding, much like the primitive estimation before the advent of counting.
The dialectical process reflects principles found in biology (evolution through natural selection), geology (tectonic activity), and even sociology (societal changes). Change and adaptation are fundamental to all life and systems. The core philosophy revolves around the dialectical process, where existence and non-existence, life and death, are intertwined. This process illustrates that growth and decay, success and failure, even the proocesses of life and death, are parts of a continuous cycle. What is growing embodies life, and what is decaying cannot prevail. This duality teaches that progress and decline are necessary for the evolution of the soul and the universe. There will be good times and bad, death and birth, all are to be celebrated as a part of the cycle.
The transformative power of human labor and effort is a cornerstone of sociology and economics. Human actions and decisions shape societies, economies, and the environment. Human labor is the unique power that can change destiny. Humans are the only beings capable of altering the final variable in the divine calculation through their actions. By doing good and
being good, individuals bring goodness into the world. If we take the coin flip analogy once again, the final variable outside of gravity, outside of wind resistance, outside of all the constant variables, is the strength with which YOU CHOSE to flip the coin. You have the power to change destiny if you approach it with intention.
The human body is composed of elements formed in stars (astrophysics), and brain activity is driven by electrical signals (neuroscience). Biophotons, weak emissions of light by cells, are studied in biophysics. The electricity in our brains, the biophotons, is the light giving us our very minds. Our physical bodies come from our mother, the Earth, with the elements in our flesh and the minerals in our blood. Our minds are of the light, making us the children of both the Holy Light and the Earth. We must honor our father, the Holy Light, and care for our mother, the Earth.
The Three Virtues:
Respect: Awareness of the self and the universe is crucial, but so is recognizing the connection between others and the universe. Destroying others’ happiness and severing their connections with the universe harms the world's well-being and, consequently, your own. Trial, conflict, war, and suffering occur, but strive to make the universe a better place despite these hindrances. Always assume a position of respect, and allow others to disprove that assumption.
Tenacity: True dedication to the Holy Light takes a lifetime of perseverance. The universe is vast, and changing it requires immense effort and persistence. While the world can change a person in a day, it takes much longer to change the world. Tenacity is essential for a servant of the Holy Light to hope to affect the universe. This can be through teaching, instilling hope, or joining with like-minded individuals to create significant change.
Compassion: Compassion strengthens the connection between the self and the universe. Helping others increases their happiness and, in turn, strengthens the helper's bond with the universe. Compassion must be exercised wisely. Overzealous compassion can hinder growth by providing help where it is neither needed nor wanted. Only those who fully understand compassion can identify who truly needs help and who can grow independently.
Continual Motion and Development: The second law of thermodynamics (entropy) and evolutionary biology both describe continuous change and development. Life is not static; it is in eternal motion, constantly undergoing destruction and creation. This continual evolution presents a picture of constant change, demanding followers to understand life as it truly is.
Evolutionary and Revolutionary Movement: Evolutionary biology shows gradual changes through natural selection, while geological events can cause sudden shifts. Social sciences also explore gradual versus revolutionary societal changes. Movement in life has two forms: evolutionary and revolutionary. Evolutionary movement involves gradual, quantitative changes, while revolutionary movement brings about sudden, qualitative transformations. Evolution prepares for revolution, and revolution facilitates further evolution.
Progress of the Growing: Concepts from ecology and sociology show that thriving, growing entities tend to dominate and persist, while those in decline tend to be replaced. That which grows and gains strength is invincible and will inevitably triumph. Conversely, that which decays and weakens is destined for defeat. This principle guides followers to support and align with forces of growth and progress.
Practices:
Meditation: Followers meditate regularly, seeking to understand the Light’s messages and align themselves with the grand equation of the universe.
Performing Labor: The primary pursuit is self-improvement and contribution to the communist process. Believers engage in productive work and community service, seeing their labor as a way to connect with the divine calculus and bring about positive change in the world.
Sunlight Rituals: Rituals conducted at sunrise and sunset symbolize the duality of existence. During these rituals, followers reflect on their actions of the day and prepare themselves for the challenges of tomorrow and embrace the blessing of a new day, aiming to be sources of light and warmth in the lives of others, while also embracing the necessary challenges that lead to growth.
Dialectical Discussions: Regular gatherings for dialectical discussions help followers explore the complexities of existence, embracing both the positive and negative aspects of life. These discussions foster a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all things. Engaging in the processes of dialectical behavior, understanding the mind to be just as cyclical as the universe where one part of the mind, emotion, logic, body, can dominate, but seeking to maintain wisdom and listening to the needs of the mind, and maintain balance between our mother earth and our Holy Light.
Practice of Knowing: A meditation and calming practice where followers will bring something into existence by knowing it to be true, similar to knowing the sun will rise. This practice reinforces the belief in the power of human labor to alter destiny. The method of bringing this knowledge into the world is that by which knowing necessarily carries the responsibility of doing.
Breathing Rituals: Breathing exercises are incorporated to symbolize the limits of "knowing." Just as breathing can be controlled only to a certain extent, so too can the power of knowing. Followers practice controlled breathing to understand the balance between control and surrender, recognizing that while they can influence outcomes, they must also accept natural limits.
Embrace Duality: Followers are taught to accept and embrace the dual nature of existence. Success and failure, joy and sorrow, life and death are all parts of the divine calculus. Pursue Knowledge:
The pursuit of knowledge, especially in mathematics and physics, is encouraged. Understanding the universe's laws is seen as a way to connect with the Holy Light.
Be a Beacon: Just as the sun showers the earth with light, followers are encouraged to be sources of light and warmth to those around them. Acts of kindness, support, and guidance are highly valued. Accept Challenges:
Difficulties and challenges are viewed as necessary interventions by the Holy Light to guide followers toward their ultimate goals. Embracing these moments is essential for personal growth and enlightenment. Sacred Texts:
The Dialectics: A collection of philosophical discussions and debates that explore the dual nature of existence and the interconnectedness of all things.
Symbols:

The Equals sign: A mathematical symbol representing the divine calculus and the pursuit of knowledge.
The Religion of the Holy Light offers a unique blend of spirituality, science, and philosophy, encouraging followers to seek knowledge, embrace duality, and strive to be sources of light in a complex and interconnected universe. The Three Virtues of respect, tenacity, and compassion guide believers on their journey to enlightenment and harmony with the divine calculus. The dynamic nature of life, with its continual motion and development, underpins the dialectical process that forms the core of this faith. The unique power of human labor to alter destiny, combined with the practices of knowing and breathing, reinforces the profound connection between human actions and the divine order. Furthermore, the recognition that we are children of both the Holy Light and the Earth, bound by the electricity in our minds and the elements of our bodies, deepens the call to honor our divine father and care for our earthly mother.
In the beginning, there was the Holy Light, the source of all order and harmony in the universe. The Holy Light is not a being, but a principle, an eternal force that governs the cosmos through the Cosmic Equation. This equation is the grand formula that encompasses every particle, every action, and every outcome. To understand the Holy Light is to seek the knowledge of this equation, for in its understanding lies the key to enlightenment and harmony.
The birth of the universe can be traced back to a singular event known as the Big Bang, a moment when the Holy Light initiated the Cosmic Equation. This event, occurring approximately 13.8 billion years ago, was the beginning of time and space as we know it. The universe, initially an incredibly hot and dense point, began to expand rapidly. This expansion set into motion the intricate dance of particles and forces that would eventually form galaxies, stars, planets, and all life.
The Big Bang and the Holy Light
The Big Bang is more than a scientific phenomenon; it is the moment the Holy Light infused the universe with its energy, setting the Cosmic Equation in motion. In this primordial state, the universe was filled with a dense plasma of elementary particles. As the universe expanded and cooled, these particles began to combine, forming the first atoms, predominantly hydrogen and helium. This process, known as nucleosynthesis, is the first step in the Holy Light's plan, turning the raw energy of creation into the building blocks of matter.
The Formation of Stars and Galaxies
As the universe continued to expand and cool, gravity began to play a crucial role. It caused the gas clouds of hydrogen and helium to collapse and form the first stars. These stars, through nuclear fusion, began to shine, emitting light and energy. The Holy Light, through the Cosmic Equation, orchestrated these stars to become the forges where heavier elements were created. In the hearts of these stars, hydrogen fused into helium, and in more massive stars, elements like carbon, oxygen, and iron were formed.
When these early stars reached the end of their life cycles, they exploded in supernovae, scattering these newly formed elements across the cosmos. These remnants coalesced under gravity to form new stars and planets, creating galaxies—vast collections of stars bound together by gravity. The Holy Light's plan unfolded with each step, turning the universe into a tapestry of interconnected systems and elements.
The Birth of Our Solar System
About 4.6 billion years ago, within a galaxy formed through the Holy Light's guidance, a new star began to form—our Sun. Surrounding this young star was a rotating disk of gas and dust, remnants of previous generations of stars. Through the Cosmic Equation, the Holy Light guided the particles within this disk to coalesce and form planets, moons, and other celestial bodies. Earth, our home, emerged from this process, rich with elements created in the hearts of ancient stars.
The Emergence of Life
On Earth, the Holy Light's influence continued to manifest. The elements on our planet combined in complex ways, eventually giving rise to life. Simple molecules formed complex
organic compounds, and through processes that science continues to study called abiogenesis, these compounds became the first living organisms. These organisms evolved over billions of years, guided by the Cosmic Equation, leading to the diverse and intricate web of life we see today. Entropic packets of excess energy from the sun is the exact process by which this abiogenesis occured. And we see the long lasting effects of our ancient father in our own minds to this day, biophotons.
The Mind and the Biophotons
As life evolved, so did the complexity of its forms. In humans, the Holy Light's influence is most evident in the mind. The brain, a network of neurons communicating through electrical impulses, is powered by biophotons—tiny bursts of light within our cells. These biophotons are the Holy Light's gift, illuminating our thoughts and consciousness. Our ability to think, reason, and understand the universe is a direct manifestation of the Holy Light within us.
The Dual Heritage
We are children of both the Holy Light and the Earth. Our physical bodies are composed of elements formed in stars and nurtured by our planet. Our minds, powered by biophotons, connect us to the light. This dual heritage calls us to honor our divine father, the Holy Light, and care for our earthly mother. Through this balance, we achieve harmony and fulfill our purpose in the grand cosmic dance.
The Holy Light and Earthly Entropy
The Holy Light continuously interacts with our mother Earth through the light of the Sun. This sunlight is a real-time manifestation of the Holy Light's energy reaching our planet, embodying the merger of the cosmic with the terrestrial. The Sun, a star powered by nuclear fusion, emits vast amounts of energy in the form of light and heat. When this sunlight reaches Earth, it brings with it packets of energy, or photons, which are fundamental to life and natural processes.
The concept of entropy, a measure of disorder or randomness in a system, plays a crucial role in this interaction. When the Sun’s energy reaches Earth, it drives numerous processes, from photosynthesis in plants to the weather patterns that shape our environment. These processes increase the entropy of the system, spreading energy and promoting the flow of life.
Photosynthesis and Life:
Plants capture sunlight and convert it into chemical energy through photosynthesis. This process is the foundation of the food chain, providing energy for all living organisms. The Holy Light, through the Sun, infuses life with the energy necessary for growth and sustenance. Weather and Climate:
The Sun's energy heats the Earth's surface, causing air and water to move and creating weather patterns. This dynamic interplay of energy and entropy shapes our climate, making Earth a habitable planet. The Holy Light's influence is evident in the rhythms of nature and the cycles that sustain life. Human Activity:
Human beings harness the energy of the Sun in various ways, from agriculture to solar power. By utilizing this energy, we become active participants in the Cosmic Equation, transforming the potential of the Holy Light into tangible benefits for society. Our labor, guided by knowledge and intention, channels this divine energy into constructive endeavors.
Through these processes, the Holy Light and mother Earth are in a constant state of interaction and transformation. The Sun's energy, a direct manifestation of the Holy Light, infuses our planet with vitality, driving the cycles of life and the evolution of complex systems. This ongoing merger of light and matter exemplifies the unity and interconnectedness of all things, as taught by the Holy Light.
To follow the Holy Light is to seek knowledge and understanding of the Cosmic Equation. It is to recognize the interconnectedness of all things and to strive for harmony within this grand design. Through respect, tenacity, and compassion, we align ourselves with the Holy Light, contributing positively to the universe's ongoing evolution. As we understand and embrace our dual heritage, we become co-creators with the Holy Light, shaping our destiny and the destiny of all life.
Just as each thread in a tapestry contributes to the overall picture, so too do our actions shape the universe. By living with intention and compassion, we weave golden threads into the fabric of existence, strengthening and beautifying the world and our community.
The Holy Light guides us to recognize the interconnectedness of all things and to act with this awareness. When we understand that every action reverberates through the Cosmic Equation, we become more mindful of our choices. Our positive actions not only enhance our lives but also contribute to the harmony and evolution of the universe, reflecting back on us as well.
Positive, light-like actions are those that embody the Three Virtues: Respect, Tenacity, and Compassion. Respect for the interconnectedness of life, tenacity in our dedication to the Holy Light, and compassion in our interactions with others. By embodying these virtues, we ensure that our actions add light and strength to the cosmic tapestry, benefiting both ourselves and our community.
“Life has gotten better”
Soulmates are just two people who experienced something similar, went through similar chemical reactions in their brains and developed similarly. The same way atoms of elements
share valence electrons, so to do we find someone who we click with in ways we can't explain. Becoming something more than either of us could on our own.
