Emergent Self and Algorithm
The individual self is a secondary pattern that emerges from the technical coordination of human labor and social synchronization.
The Technical Reality: How it Works
the "Soul" is not a ghost inside the flesh, but the Metabolic Pattern of a human life. This pattern is formed by the "Algorithm" of the community. In a 15-man fabrication shop, the "Self" of a worker is defined by their position in the workflow and their synchronization with their neighbors.
If the community's algorithm is extractive (designed to benefit an outside master), it producing a "Hollow Self"—someone who exists only to consume and be consumed. If the algorithm is synchronized (Apostolic), it produces a "Dense Self"—someone whose identity is anchored in their physical contribution to the group's survival. Your "Being" is the residue of your "Motion."
Scriptural Grounding
Acts 17:28 ("For in him we live, and move, and have our being"). This is a technical description of the Social Habitat. Our identity (Being) is the result of the environment we inhabit (Him) and the coordination of our actions (Move). The early Church was a "New Algorithm" for human development.
